Lg monitor drivers for windows. Radicom Research, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of dial-up and wireless modems for embedded systems applications, introduces its new line of USB hardware modems.
Available in modular and standalone configurations, these modems process data using their own hardware and do not utilize any processing power of the host computer. These modems are CDC-compliant and are supported by Microsoft CDC modem drivers and Linux CDC-ACM drivers. They work with Linux, Windows and Mac operating systems.
Radicom's standalone V92HU-E modem measures just 1.4'(W) x 2.5'(D) x 1.0'(H) enclosed with USB interface and RJ-11 phone jack. The modular V92HU measures just 1.0'(W) x 1.0'(D) x 0.25'(H) has no on-board jacks, permitting custom jack placement.
Radicom's USB modems contain a hardware controller, a data pump and an International DAA (Data Access Arrangement). The International DAA in these modems does not draw power from the telephone line, but only draws low power from the USB port. They thus operate reliably when line current is low due to long lines or poor line conditions.
Radicom USB modems have their own built-in DSP (Data Signal Processing), and support V.92 analog data, V.44 data compression, 14.4 kbps fax, and remote telephone answering machines (TAM) without utilizing host-processing power. USB 1.1 and 2.0 host controllers and hubs are supported. They are USB hot swappable and can operate at data rates from 300 to 56K, and accept AT command set.
Compact USB Hardware Modems
'Radicom engineers designed these USB hardware modems at the request of OEM designers who wanted compact USB hardware modems that would work with Linux, Windows and Mac operating systems and have all the features found in larger packages,' said Alex Tsau, Vice President of Operations for Radicom Research. 'Their small size and low power requirements, quick connect and rapid dial-up make them particularly well suited for remote monitoring applications. Also, the fact that they do not draw line current assures that an urgent call will not be rejected because of poor line conditions.'
With international DAA and RoHS compatibility these modems comply with most international standards and are ready to ship to US, Canada, Europe and other major countries.
Summary of Features:
- Works with Linux, Windows and Mac OS
- RoHS complaint
- Fax / voice playback and recording
- Hot swappable USB 1.1, 2.0 interface
- Low power consumption from USB, not line current
- AT command set support
- Microsoft CDC compliant
- Linux CDC-ACM compliant
- Supports V.92 analog data
- Supports V.44 data compression
-Supports remote telephone answering machines (TAM)
-Up to 56 kbps data speeds downstream
- Generates and detects DTMF tones in voice mode
- Line-in use, remote hang-up, extension pick-up detection
- Automatic format and speed sensing
- Digital Line Guard
- Caller ID type I and II for select countries
Digital Line Guard automatically detects an over current on tip and ring lines and protects the modem from over current that might result from an accidental connection to a digital telephone line. Line-in-use and connection detection features allow the modem to share a phone line with other equipment, eliminating the cost of a dedicated phone line, allowing field personnel to check status and receive reports on remote facilities and respond to abnormal conditions immediately.
Agency approvals: Transferable FCC68, FCC15B, CS03 and CTR21 certifications. IEC60950-1, EN60950 approved, EN55022 and EN55024 compliant, with CE Marking.
