IMPORTANT: FLIR FX cameras only support 2.4 GHz WiFi networks using the 802.11 b/g/n standards. The FLIR FX camera will not connect to a 5 GHz WiFi network.

• To simplify the transition between two routers, consider using the same service set identifier (SSID) and password that was used on the previous / existing router. Refer to your router user manual for details.

  • Reboot your cameras and recorder to automatically connect to the new router.

• Check that you are running the latest available firmware for the new router.
• Check with your router manufacturer on the throughput speed of your router. Ensure the new router throughput speed is adequate for supporting multiple cameras.
